The Queensland Government reform action plan for further education and training

It’s slipped under the radar of many Learning and Development leaders and RTO managers but on June 8 the Newman government released The Queensland Government Reform Action Plan for Further Education and Training, a five year action plan to reform the state’s further education and training sector. Those interested can download a copy of the action plan from the Government’s website (PDF | RTF).

The government describe the plan as “an ambitious program of reform that will support Queenslanders to access and complete the skills training they need to get a job”. There’s nothing overly controversial within the action plan (other than the fact it’s not really that ambitious) and I’ve provided links to a range of documentation relating to the plan below. There have also been a few discussions on LinkedIn for those interested in getting a little social.
