Happy New Year and welcome to 2014! We’ve got some exciting developments planned at Spectrum Training this year and I’d like to share a couple of these with you.

Online Enrolment Portal

In the first quarter of 2014 we’ll be opening up our online enrolment portal to everyone. This will allow you to enrol in our learning programs online, make secure payments online and update your AVETMISS details online. This will streamline administrative tasks for both us and yourself and efficiency savings will result in better quality learning programs and faster service.

Online Learning Portal

In February 2014 we’ll be opening up our first online training programs to everyone. We’ll be adding more and more programs as the year unfolds but to get things started we’re going to be offering the TAA04 to TAE10 upgrade online for a flat fee of $350, and we’ll be providing individual units and modules online in our Certificate III in Disability, Certificate IV in Mental Health and Certificate IV in Community Services Work qualifications.

New Training Management System

We’ve invested significant time and energy over 2013 in the creation of an industry leading Business Process Management (BPM) System. Our new system, documented using BPMN 2.0, is firstly client focused and has some really innovative BPMN 2.0 documented instructional design process flows around the Successive Approximation Model (SAM). I’ll be writing up a brief post later this month on the importance of a properly constructed and documented  BPM system for Registered Training Organisations.

We’re really excited about these three new developments and we’re certain that they’re going to strengthen our learning products and our service to you. Keep an eye out as the year unfolds for updates and new developments in our operations and product offerings.
