    Community Sector Team Leadership Skill Set

     

    DO YOU WANT TO

    Develop or improve your Team Leadership and Supervision Skills

    Develop and maintain high quality client service delivery  

    Improve your ability to communicate with staff and clients

    The Community Sector Team Leadership Skill set is designed for staff in or look to move into Team Leadership, Management, or Supervision roles and who wish to improve and develop their skills.

    The skill set provides participants with the ability to be assessed in the following units of competency;

     

    • CHCCOM403A Use targeted communication skills to build relationship
    • CHCORG406A Supervise work
    • CHCORG423A Maintain quality service delivery
    Which will provide participants with the following range of skills:
    §  Communicating with clients and staff
    §  Effective communications strategies
    §  Effective meetings and discussions
    §  Dealing with difficult conversations
    §  Staff induction and orientation
    §  Developing your team
    §  Performance and Professional Development
    §  Leadership
    §  Delivering high quality services to clients
    §  Frameworks for quality service delivery
    §  Monitor and review service delivery

    The course isconducted over 3 non-consecutive days (The dates for this class are 4 September 2014, 2 October 2014 and 6 November 2014) with each concentrating on one of the three units of competency, utilising a range of adult learning methodologies to ensure that all participants are provided with optimal learning experiences.

    On successful completion of the course and the assessments participants will receive a Statement of Attainment for completed units.

    The per person investment for the program (including assessment) is $295 + booking fees.
